Learn About Crystals
One of the most overwhelming things about deciding on crystals is knowing which crystals serve which function.
I'll admit, when I started collecting, I did not know a lot about crystals. For me, it was more about what I felt drawn to, what I thought was beautiful, and what I saw other people fangirling over. But I'm a researcher at heart. So I decided to start looking into the various crystals and their meanings. And what I was drawn to started making sense.
Before I go on with my story, I'll share this resource with you all. My hope is that in reading about these materials, you'll find something you connect with. https://anotherbadcreation.my.canva.site/crystalinfo
My favorite is Labradorite by far. It is known for it's ability to protect and also to help open the third-eye chakra. So while I loved the flashiness, I was drawn for more of a reason--I was in a period of seeking more spiritual enlightenment and also being comfortable expressing those views and opinions to other. So in essence, the Labradorite called to me because it was what I needed in that time. For that reason, it will always hold a special place in my heart.
Other crystals I love include Blue Lace Agate, Hematite, Peach Moonstone, and Flower Agate. Two I was resistant to, but are growing on me, are Rose Quartz and Fluorite. It seemed like I was getting way too many of those to keep up with when I started collecting, but again, they were what I needed at that time. While Rose Quartz is often associated with romantic love, it can also help with Self-Love, which I needed during that time in my life. Fluorite is also great for absorbing and neutralizing negative energy. During a time of transition, these two were perfect for me in addition to my Labradorite.
So in closing, whether you know what you like or you need more help figuring it out, crystals can make a difference in your life.
